Seriously, What in the world is Forex?

At first when i heard of the word Forex, i thought it was some complex mechanical machine. Later found out from Wikipedia that it's actually the abbreviation of Foreign Exchange. I had some hard time understanding forex initially but i realize it's actually quite simple. It's like i want to go to America for holidays, but if i bring my RM(ringgit malaysia) there to buy things, they won't accept it because they only accept USD(united states dollar). I'll end up dying of hunger there. Hahaha.

So, it would be wise for me to Buy some USD in Malaysia with my RM before i go to America so that i can go shopping and buy some Burger King cheeseburgers when i reach there. And guess what, that's Forex! buying and selling of foreign currencies. I buy the USD from the money changer, the money changer sells the USD to me, but do you know that Billions and Billions of Dollars are bought and sold in the Forex market each day, and it's not only through the money changers, obviously.

Banks, large importers and exporters, Central Banks etc. trades daily on the Forex market, and they trade BIG. By the way, we can trade in the Forex market too, do you know that? It's called retail trading, but the catch is, do you know how to trade, CORRECTLY and PROFITABLY?
